About the Event
Newton Ghost Walk
Around sunset, we will be wandering through the ancient lanes of Newton recalling traditions from our ancient and Christian pasts, telling ghostly tales and reviving the ancient tradition of Souling. On the tour, you can tell your own ghost stories and earn a freshly-made, hand baked Samhain offering from ancient times - a soul cake.
The Ghost Walk begins and ends at the Dovecote Car Park.
Price
£5 for adults, £3 for children between 10 and 17

Practicalities
All children must be accompanied by an adult and if younger than 10, we may have to keep some of the more gruesome tales for another night.
Dress for the weather - and posibly for the spirits at large!
Bring some props appropriate for Samhain - a carved gourd, some small prop to disguise you from ghosts and ghouls or to trick them into believing you are one of them! Don't forget your torches or lanterns.
If you have a ghost story of your own that can be told in five minutes, we'd love to hear it on the tour.
Advisory
Events may be rescheduled due to adverse weather conditions
